iFrame FAQs

What does the payee need to do to register successfully in the iFrame?

The payee needs to complete the following information on the "Payment Details" tab.

  1. Enter contact information (name and address)
  2. Select a payment method
  3. Submit tax forms (if the Taxation module has been enabled)

Does Tipalti collect local tax and VAT ID numbers from payees?

Yes. Click here for details.

Does Tipalti check payee addresses before any payments are sent out?

Yes. When payees complete their contact address, payment method address (for "Check" payments only), and tax form address in the iFrame, Tipalti validates the addresses to ensure accuracy. Click here for more information on the address validation process.

Can payees upload documents to the iFrame for my review?

Yes. Payees can upload documents to the "Documents" page on the "Payment Details" tab. Click here for information about additional documents that may be required.

Can payees update their information at any time in the iFrame?

Yes, as long as there are no restrictions on accounts. However, a change in any of the following information may erase banking information and/or invalidate tax forms.

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Company name
  • Contact address country
  • Payment details country
  • Phone number
