Affiliate (payee) setup process
When an affiliate signs up with an Advertiser or Network, Cake Admin collects basic affiliate information (e.g., name, address, etc.) via a standard sign-up form.
Step 1. Affiliate completes Cake sign-up form
To support the Tipalti integration for the affiliate sign-up process, Cake includes the TipaltiiFrame as a "page 2" of this form in order to collect payment-specific account information.
Step 2. Affiliate's contact and payment information requires approval
After the affiliate completes the sign-up form, their contact and payment information is now in the system. However, until approved, the affiliate is in a "Pending" approval state in Cake Admin, under the "Affiliates" tab.
Step 3. Affiliate cards are generated
Following approval of affiliate information, two cards exist in Cake for the affiliate: a "Contact" card and an "Affiliate" card.

Affiliate (payee) account management
After an affiliate is set up, the affiliate can manage their account through the Affiliate portal. When the affiliate logs into the account and selects "Account Info", general account information is available for editing, such as "Company Information", "Payment Information" and "Contact Information". Under "Payment Information" is the client-specific iFrame call to Tipalti, which opens a page where the affiliate can directly manage the payment setup details.
