Overview
Your Tipalti Hub Home provides an overview of all your financial operations, enabling efficient task management and prioritization. Designed for finance professionals, it provides a snapshot of your tasks, mentions, and funding, all in one personalized dashboard.
You can easily track tasks such as pending payments, follow up with your team, and stay on top of funding, helping reduce errors due to insufficient funds.
- This is being gradually rolled out to finance users who use the Accounts Payable product only.
- Looking for a guide to the employee Home experience? Go to Employees.
Manage tasks
In the Tasks section, you can easily track your finance team’s activities, enabling you to prioritize and complete tasks. The tasks are listed by type:
- Bills (Pending review, Pending approval, Pending AP actions, Pending PO matching, Pending payment)
- Payments (Payment batches pending approval, Failed payments this week)
- Cards (transactions pending review, 3rd-party cards to assign, cards over budget)
- Sync (Review and fix sync errors)
In the tasks list, you’ll see an indication of how many tasks are in each type. Clicking on a line in the list takes you directly to the relevant, filtered screen in the Tipalti Hub. You will only see tasks relevant to your user roles (e.g., Bills tasks require bill permissions).
When you open a bill from the Bills section in Home, you can move through your bill queue without returning to Home. Use the navigation arrows to go to the next or previous bill, and check the position indicator — for example, 2 of 8 — to see where you are in the list. Navigation follows your active Home filters. When you reach the last bill, you return to Home automatically.
Bills tasks have visual priority labels to help identify urgent work at a glance. Clicking on the labels opens a filtered view showing those time-sensitive bills.
- Due soon is added to tasks with a due date in the next 3 days.
- Overdue is added to tasks with a due date that has passed.
Payments tasks show the number of payment batches that are pending approval and the number of failed payments. The failed payments count reflects the latest payment status per bill only — multiple failed attempts on the same bill count as one, and the count decreases once a bill is successfully paid.
Cards tasks link directly to card transactions prefiltered by entity and “pending review” status.
Track and add funds
In the Funding section, you can monitor your funding status and take action when funds are insufficient, reducing payment errors due to missing funds. The Funding section updates on a daily basis, and displays Today’s payouts and the amount of Funds required.
You can also fund your account directly from Home by clicking on the Add funds button, which opens the Add funds to your account dialog. Select the account you want to fund and follow the steps to add funds to your account.
To learn more about funding methods, go to Fund Tipalti accounts.
Follow up with others
In the Follow-ups section, you can quickly follow up with others in your team about items that have been pending approval for over a week.
You can quickly see which approvers have long-pending bills and take action before bills miss their target timelines.

Common questions
Why is the Tipalti Hub Home experience changing?
We’re continually improving your Tipalti experience, so finance professionals can get what they need faster and more efficiently. The consolidated and prioritized task list saves you time and improves task completion.
Why don’t I see the new Home screen?
The new Home is being gradually rolled out to payers who only use Accounts Payable products. In future months, we’ll roll out the new Home to payers using Expenses, New Procurement, and Cards. Employees and users with limited roles, such as Bill approvers, will continue to use a dedicated Home experience.
Why don’t I see all my organization’s tasks?
Tasks are displayed to users based on their roles and permissions. If you’re using the new Home experience and don’t see any tasks, it's possible that you don’t have the necessary permissions to access those areas (e.g., bills, payments, or sync), or there are no relevant tasks to display. For more information on roles, see User roles.
How do I switch Tipalti instances?
If you have access to multiple Tipalti instances, you’ll see a switcher in the top right corner, where you can switch between each Tipalti instance. You can only manage tasks, funds, and items for the instance you’re viewing. Learn more about switching instances.
How are the total payouts calculated under Funding?
The Funding section shows two amounts. Today’s payouts displays the total amount of payments that are approved and pending approval for that entity for today’s date. Funds required displays the amount of missing funds needed in the account. If you have payments and funding in multiple currencies, the amount is a sum aggregated by the main currency of your virtual account.
